Fegger's new forum topic

Hope everyone had a blessed Christmas. I did. Wanted to tell you that Fegger started this great new thread called "Real Time Library" under Forums on Triond. It's a great way to introduce yourself and to post links to your articles. I'm anxious to see if this takes off, I think it will.

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas!

Four days until I'm off for Christmas...woohoo!! Despite the grief I've experienced recently, I am really ready for Christmas this year. I'm really trying to be mindful to make it a wonderful time with friends and family and strengthening my faith. I have put up fresh holly on the mantle and a pine cone basket as a center piece. I'm burning my favorite candles. I'm finding ways to connect with others. It feels really great.

My brother

Trying to take life one day at a time. My brother's surgery is scheduled for January 13th. He was diagnosed with Testicular Cancer a few months ago. It had matastasized throughout his body. Now, the surgery is to remove a very large tumor cutting off his circulation, replace all veins and arteries in his legs and abdomen, remove a kidney, and part of his bowel. We're not sure if he's going to make it through the surgery. Life is really hard sometimes, even for a therapist. We're human too. For now, I'm enjoying our time, our holiday together and the spiritual connection that we are starting to build.
