Welcome fellow free-lancers one and all. Feel free to post some of your own stuff on my blog here (as long as you promise to promote mine as well ; ) ).
Have you guys checked out my "Ask A Therapist" article yet on Triond? It proves to be a lot of fun!
okay, I think I finally figured this out... LOL. I have far too many passwords, usernames, etc.
ReplyDeleteSo, Kimberly, is this a work blog, personal or both?
ReplyDeleteA bit of both.
ReplyDeleteOkay, so... what, as a psychotherapist would you say about someone who seeks the approval of the entire world for their feeling of self worth??
ReplyDeletej/k I don't think I want anyone inside my head. It's scary enough with just me in here.
ReplyDeleteokay, I am assuming the numerous names indicates schizophrenia... LOL
ReplyDeletewell, since I am sitting here talking to myself; let's try a little off the cuff stuff...
ReplyDeleteNow, more than ever
the feeling of self-aggrandisment
as I sit and scrawl
the tyrannical nature of discontent
and allowing for
the fallen stamp of punctuation
like e.e. cummings
I hope to create a new nation
a place where writing
is alive, free of shackles
and hopefully friends
it doesn't intentionally raise hackles
LOL
So, Dan, tell us a little about yourself... Well, Johnny; I am a Cancer, tall, odd and extroverted... LOL
ReplyDeleteDan to himself {{beginning to think this is all some psych experiment gone horribly awry}}
ReplyDeleteSomewhere a guy in a white lab coat, bottle-lensed glasses is reading this and going..."Wery interessssting!"
ReplyDeleteWell, I came, I saw and I blogged... or in latin, vini, vidi, bloggus
ReplyDeleteGood evening, tonight we will be discussing the illiterative stylings of Dr. Seuss and his impact on neo-tribal mentality in the mass media market....
ReplyDeleteLOL, Dan. Regarding your question about needing approval, the clinical term for that is "co-dependency" and plug plug I have some Triond articles about that very thing.
ReplyDeleteI also wrote a Dr. Suess piece for Fegger, called you guessed it.."Fegger" on Triond.
ReplyDeleteI think I remember reading the "Fregger" piece just a few days ago.. okay doc, so; what's wrong with me???
ReplyDeleteNow you see why I write... the voices make me do it...
ReplyDeleteDan, go read your Triond mail ; )
ReplyDeleteYou asked us to post our own work here. Well here are links to what I think are two of my pieces on Triond. First a nice gentle romance set at Christmas time in Gloucester, England, in the year 1102.

And a factual piece - a short article on the Pharoah Queen Hatshepsut's mortuary temple near Luxor, Egypt, which I visited in autumn 2009.
